The following are links to a few posts on sailing and boating forums by boat owners who used Spotless Stainless Rust Remover and Protector.. (some edits here for clarity)

Just got a chance to use a product called "Spotless Stainless", introduced on Sailnet a few months ago, and am pleased to report that the stuff is every bit as good as the chap said it was. This is a product that is a creamy white gel one applies with a short bristle "acid brush" to the affected rust stain. Leave it on for 30 min and hose it off. I find I'm more comfortable using it than I am with FSR, also a gelled rust stain remover. I haven't used Spotless in general stain removal applications on gelcoat as I have with FSR, but as far as Stainless cleaning is concerned this stuff gets my whole hearted approval.

Spotless Stainless Makes Stainless Steel Sparkle..
Hello all: I have just finished cleaning my SS with a new product called Spotless Stainless steel cleaner. IMHO....this product is wonderful.....comes in a quart jug...pour a little in a cup, and brush it on(must be at least 70deg F.) wait 30 min. or so and hose it off....It took two applications on the really bad rust stains. but with no scrubbing or rubbing ...I did all my stanchions...Aft rail...bow rail and stay-loks with a half a quart and they look new again. It really gets into those hard to get to places, between shackles, threads on bolts and stay-loks......I'm really impressed .....It took me 2 hours to do the whole boat.....its only available on line, and it's ~32$ a quart....but well worth it.........Ed with shiny SS
...
The best thing I like about it (Spotless Stainless) is,,,you can stand on the dock talking to your friends and drinking a cold one .....and one fellow says " hey I thought you were going to clean your SS today?" and you can reply..." I'm cleaning it as we speak!!!"....priceless ....

Stainless Cleaner
As you can see from my previous posts I have been searching for a way to clean up our 25 year old stainless. I have found it!!! In the last couple of months, I have tried all kinds of stainless cleaners and polishes. The best thing I had found was a buffing wheel and polish. The pieces that I have done look great but takes hours and require taking apart and cleaning and then reassembly. I was searching sailnet a couple of weeks ago and found a post on SPOTLESS STAINLESS. I purchased some but had to wait a couple of weeks for temp to get above 70 ( recommended working temp ). Yesterday was the day. It was 72 and foggy, perfect for this type of product. To my TOTAL amazement this product works just like it says it does. Our stainless looked bad.... lots of stains and rust, it (now) looks amazing. Now the good part... you put it one with a brush, wait 15 minutes, put on another coat, wait 15 minutes and hose off. I used the large bottle and did 75% of the stainless on the boat. If you are doing a 30 foot plus boat order 2. We are NOT affiliated with this company in any way. Just a thrilled customer. You will be amazed!!!
